This artwork was done for Respect Victoria, for their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Family violence has never been a part of our cultures, but colonisation and systemic racism mean our women, children, families, and communities are disproportionately impacted.

Respect Victoria’s vision for Reconciliation aims for a society where First Nations peoples are safe, equal, and respected. For true reconciliation to happen, it’s critical that non-Aboriginal organisations like ours share power and resources with First Nations organisations.

Now more than ever, Respect Victoria commit to elevating and collaborating with the pioneering approaches of Aboriginal-led prevention work so that our people are free to live safe, equal, and respected lives.
