Artwork Story
This artwork tells the story of my naming ceremony when I was 16 years old. It captures the sacred moment when I was given my Aboriginal name, connecting me to my cultural heritage. The piece reflects the emotions of the ceremony: pride, belonging, and identity. It honours that pivotal moment in my life, and those who were there with me during it.
