Artwork Story
This piece tells the story of my beautiful nanna Maude, represented by the woman symbol in the middle of the piece. In the top right corner is a star, representing her mother Amy (my great nanna) who is in the Dreamtime.
I come from a strong line of Aboriginal woman, and I am so grateful for their strength and pride in our culture throughout such tough times.
There are 5 people in the bottom corner, representing my dad, his three brothers and his sister. There are 16 grandchildren surrounding nan also. The dreamy background is symbolic of the sky, For Our Elders who are in Dreamtime.
