Artwork Story
This piece tells a story about my time on Gunditjmara Country, especially down by the river and the beach. It’s a place I’ve spent a lot of time just sitting, watching the water move and noticing how everything feels connected there.
I painted this during a time where going back to Gunditjmara Country was hard, because for the first time in my whole life, I didn't have a grandmother to visit.
It’s a reflection of how places and spirits stay with you, even when you’re not there.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Do not bleach, wring or tumble dry. Air dry naturally and cool iron on the reverse side if needed.
