This piece represents my summers spent back on Peek Whurrong Country when I was a kid. My family moved from Warrnambool to Naarm (Melbourne) when I was 8. Every summer we would go back home to be with our grandparents who were in Ellerslie and Mortlake. We spent all of our time there as kids and I will always cherish those memories of being by the water - the beach and the river.
