Indigenous is the umbrella term for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
‘First Nations’ is another umbrella term however my preference is ‘Indigenous Australian’.
Please note this is my preference but may not be everyone’s.
When referring to myself as a person and artist, I would always say Aboriginal. Indigenous is best used when referring to a group/multiple people.
